Yeh it's probably possible to convince yourself you have pretty much anything from reading lists of symptoms on that there internet. You're kidney's are more towards you back, is that where the pain is? If you tell the doc about the pain + the drinking he'll most likely do a simple blood test, you can test for various liver enzmes and the like in the blood, they tend to leak out of the liver when it's overloaded.

Anyways the liver is still the most likely problem here, maybe give it another day or two if you're relucant to see the doc, see if the pressure subsides.
