It will work out--your feelings are totally valid and if he can't give you the respect you deserve, his leaving is for the best. Or perhaps this isn't the end but a step in his learning (painfully) how to love you better.

Right, and I also believe that his feelings (whatever they are) are valid too, because I believe that in a relationship, every feeling is valid, no matter what it is, cuz after all, we can't control how we feel. Its how we respond to those feelings that causes trouble. And we have to look at what is causing the feelings in the first place.

Rather than do the good boyfriend thing and try to determine just exactly what he had done to make me feel the way I did, he wrote me off and said my feeling was invalid and left me alone. That just made me all the more upset and forced me to dump him.
