twelve cherry blossoms [VOICE]

[BZZZZZT!]

I see you've gotten no less impatient, communicator-san. Surely you don't think the rest of the city's resident are that eager to hear from me. I know that if I were to drop off the face of the earth quite a few of them couldn't be happier. I have little to say, I'm afraid, and pressing me to speak before I'm ready is rudeOf course ( Read more... )

N-no! N-not at all! [He's afraid to ask what he meant by the striked stuff.]

Are you feeling better? I-is there anything I can do to help?

[He meant exactly what he said! He doesn't expect Subaru to actually ask about it, though.]

I'm feeling much better today, thanks to you taking such good care of me.

Glad to hear it, of course... That was a fast recovery.

It seems it wasn't as bad as I'd feared. [Of course, now he's waiting for you to notice the cherry blossoms.]

[ Oh, he's noticed them, and this just adds to it. But he doesn't know how to react, hell, he sucks at reacting, really, normally at least (and he's scared, there's that, we won't talk about it, he remembers you beating him to death, taking your time-). So he plays the game instead, the one where he talks to you like he doesn't remember or care. The cheerful idiot one. ]

C'mon, you should at least [ ... ] get people to bring you tea an' soup.

no, i like it here :[ underthesakura September 17 2009, 18:31:20 UTC
[It's probably for the best Seishirou doesn't realize all of this, then. That would just make him want to poke for more reactions.]

Well, Subaru-kun has been taking good care of me.

TREE COMMENTLOG TIME oneenemyleft September 17 2009, 18:21:42 UTC
[ She's still tired and weak and her head thuds a bit, feels stuffed and somehow far away. Magic can only do so much, after all. So at first Fuuka thinks she's hallucinating. After all, she's lying in her bed in the hospital, curled on her side, eyes half open. The perfect time for dreams to take over, for the mind to play tricks.

...

Nope. There really is a tree in her hospital room. And her hospital room has gotten rather... big, all at once. Or maybe not. It's too dark to tell... so far as dreams go, it's not a bad one. Peaceful, at least. Or maybe Fuuka's just too out of it to notice anything much.

...When did she leave her bed? ]

[The tree doesn't provide any sort of answer or explanation, nor does the featureless, blue-back 'field' that surrounds it. It's just Fuuka and the tree, and no obvious way out.]

[Strange for the tree to look like it's in full bloom this late in the summer, though. And for it to shift and sway -- just a little -- despite the lack of breeze.]

[ She just stares at it, slow to respond and react. It's pretty, that's her thought, I'm asleep, that's her other thought, but dreams don't hurt or make you dizzy, and she's definitely both-when did she stand up? She takes an uncertain, unbalanced step towards the tree, afraid of falling, hoping to steady herself against it, breathing in sharp with the movement-

... ] I'm not asleep...

[ It's like the Dark Hour for the first time. She'd thought that was a dream, too. And suddenly the pain of her skull was sharper, more real, and she was aware of the magic pressing in on her from all sides. ]

TREE COMMENTLOG // SORRY FOR THE DELAY, comp had a fit underthesakura September 17 2009, 23:04:45 UTC
[You're welcome to lean against the tree! Although... rest that close to it for too long and you might notice that one of the low-hanging branches is starting curling around your wrist, or maybe into your hair.]

[If Fuuka takes the time to study the magic she might notice that there are two intertwined but unique pieces to her surroundings -- the tree itself and the black field surrounding it. The field is a combination of illusion and barrier, but the tree is something with a bit more... substance to it.]

[Shinjiro is pinged... in a bad way by that mention of Sorata's name. So have a wary stalker on your post there.]

[They should form a Discedo stalking agency. But really, he remembers what the 'other' Seishirou did to Sorata. So, enjoy your friendly neighborhood stalking for now.]
