So this Friday was my Alex's (hehe) birthday. So since I had to drop off a paper on West Side by 12 I went over there at 10:30 .. but Alex was still sleeping so I didn't wake him up.. Absinthe? i'm jealous. how was it? not as good as Eurotrip makes it look i bet! lol damn movies! sounds like you're having fun with the UIC kids, thats good! and things with alex, if something is meant to happen it will - you just have to wait for the right moment. i'm glad you're happy though! ♥

haha. no not as good as Euro trip makes it.. but fun still.. the only bad part was that it didnt make me feel drunk per se in the classic sense.. just really fucked up or somthing : )

you´re supposed to set it on fire, then drink it:) it doesn´t include as much of the 'thujon' (the "drug" that makes you hallucinate) as it used to. However, it is a fun drink, I don´t think you can get anything much stronger. Except my grandpa´s 'slivovice' which´s got 80%:))

BTW Eurotrip´s bullshit though funny
BTW2 If you trust your friends a lot, I can get Absinthe for you guys much cheaper than what they got it for.

haha.. yeah we read two different ways to prepare it.. and since fire isnt allowed in the residence halls we opted to do it the other way.. : ( though we may do it next time because it sounds more fun.. lol.. but that would be awesome if you could get some for us sometime.. I have no idea how that would work though : ) ...

I´ll bring some bottles of Absinthe with me when I´m there over the summer. I´m wondering where you can get it in US though and for how much. Would you find that out for me? Just be careful when you do the fire, it can cause some bad injuries;) hope to see you this summer!

oh.. actually absinthe is illegal in the US.. which is why it cost us so much to get.. you can't bring it through customs or they will take it away from you (so be careful!) ... also drinking age here is 21 (so be careful of that too!).. we had to get a courier service (somehow it doesnt go through customs?) which cost more than the price of the bottle (it was like 60$) the bottle only cost like 50$ or so..:-/
