hey can you tell me 2 things a. how do i get the friends only thing onto my account ??? b. how so i get a header (alice one) on to my journal if i dont have a paid account ??? thanks luv ya xxxxxxx
Hi! I'll be glad to help if you have any more questions (just reply to this comment)
a) there is no livejournal set friends only thing. You have to actually change each individual entry...it's a rather large pain if you have a lot already set as public. The option for it is on the little taskbar thing under where you type your journal when you edit it.
b) you have to go to Modify Journal (I only know how to work S1 so for S2 I can't help you) and get the code for your layout style (the easiest is generator)....Ill get you a link in another comment in a second...you paste that code into the "overrides" box on your Modify Journal page and paste the URL of the header in where it says header (I will give you an example once I get the FAQ page with the codes for you.)
the code is in there...where it says for the background image URL replace that with the URL of your header. (If you don't know how to get a URL...make an account at www.photobucket.com or www.imageready.com and upload the image from your own hard drive and it will give you a URL
