I woke up in Friday Harbor today and took a long way back... Remarkably, they actually were. The winds are a prevailing southerly this time of year, but the day I went up I had a northerly. It was substantially milder than the typical southerlies, though. Coming back. Now that was hard.

Huh?
I only use meters because that's the unit of distance I'm most comfortable with. Just like with volumes -- it's always liters or some derived unit from that.
