[Aveline didn't think she would ever be so happy to see the giant tent of the Carnival. She briefly looked in the direction that Garrett had run off and scowled, Aveline would have preferred for them all to stay together-- but there was no stopping the man.
Their trek through the Mist had landed them another party member, Utena, but even with a group of five it hadn't exactly been easy-- Aveline had never seen such strange creatures before. She almost missed the sight of Darkspawn. Almost. The injury on her leg, which hadn't fully healed since the nightmare event, had reopened from dealing with a monster with giant club-like appendages. However, no one had fallen, or gotten lost, and for that Aveline was thankful. Now they only had to deal with whatever was in the Carnival itself... and then the return trip.
She looked back at the rest of the party, her expression determined.]
