As it stands now, Akihiko has never felt like someone the way he feels about Mitsuru. To Akihiko, the way he's begun to understand their relationship, at least on a sub-conscious level, all revolves around them making a great team. They have similar ideas of order, purpose, duty, dedication, and teamwork, but above all that, they also have an understanding of each other. They've been working together for so long, their every movement compliments the other. On a personal level, he loves her more than anything, and he knows he can take care of her, protect her, and now, after saving her, he knows he can do that, too. Even more recently, he's realized she likes it when he stands up to her, and being in charge like that makes him feel more...like a man? It's as good an explanation as any.

I think I've said before that Starwind thinks of Laura as one of his students the same way he thinks of Vanyel, so with that he is extremely protective of her. Like he'll go hurt people that try to mess with her if he finds out, even if he pretty much knows that she's capable of looking out for herself.

She confuses him sometimes, but he's almost come to expect that. He knows that it takes a long time to change what people think--especially about themselves--so he's not really expecting her to suddenly be all bright and cheerful, but he'd really like to see her smile a time or two.

And he's sorry for being confusing sometimes. ;~;

Sephiroth

Confusing would be a very good way of describing how Sephiroth feels about Voodoo at this point. She means more to him than any woman ever has, and plagues his thoughts more than he sometimes feels anyone should. He thinks of her when she's not around, wonders what she's thinking when they have conversations, and looks forward to her company whenever he can keep it. He finds her physically attractive, but he puts little stock in that fact, simply enjoying Voodoo's company for what it is. After having conversations with a few people, he's started to attempt thinking about what his feelings for her might mean, but at this point, he isn't certain how you would know if you have true feelings for someone or not.

She still thinks Mitsuru is prettier than her. Which is weird, because she also doesn't think that it really matters what she looks like. But she really respects Mitsuru and her leadership ability. She's a little jealous that Mitsuru has a lot of her friends from home around and she doesn't herself, but she'll get over it. She also thinks that Mitsuru is pretty smart, which is an accomplishment, so she should be proud of that.

Tylendel thinks Mitsuru is adorable, if a bit overconcerned about some things. He recognizes her leadership ability and he respects her a lot. Like. A lot a lot. He'd definitely follow orders from her if it came down to it.

He's also a little concerned about what she thinks of herself--he thinks she's gorgeous, but he doesn't really know why she doesn't think she's pretty at all. He can understand that that's the opinion of a lot of girls, but that doesn't mean that he really knows why. But if he didn't only like boys, he could also see himself being attracted to her.
