satangotmylungs is a play on cat my tongue. Yeah, I was really proud of it at the time, and kind of am still. Could be worse, could be better.

savedbyradishes was made after I saw the second movie, which explains it. Having seen it more than once, I really would love to change it to sonofgoose at one point because, wow, that father/son relationship is far too amazing to just ignore.

justapodiatrist is from when Harry is following Lisa home and asks something about men and relationships, she says she doesn't need a man, "just a really good podiatrist," since she's a nurse and on her feet all day. It's a pretty interesting conversation, and a bit more baffling after one realizes she asks about Harry's daughter when he never told her about looking for her. DUN DUN DUN.

zerosuitjill: my attempt to be witty. As soon as I saw Jill's Wesker!look in RE5, I said to my sisters "DUDE SHE IS TOTALLY ZERO SUIT SAMUS :O" So. Zero Suit Jill, hurr. Doesn't really fit as much since she's no longer a blonde in this account, but eh, whatever. I actually reserved this LJ name as a joke, really, and didn't plan on actually RPing her all that much, if at all; GOOD THING I DID, YEAH?

sarifattackdog: I FORGET WHICH PLACE, but in one of the hideouts you sneak through in the game, if you hack into a certain email account, you see a message that was forwarded to all the guards saying to keep an eye out for Jensen, code name "Sarif Attack Dog."

xxii_thefool is, of course, a Tarot reference. The Fool is usually numbered 0, but it can also be placed as the last card of the Major Arcana, making its number 22. Minako, as an alternate for Minato and also a Wild Card of the Fool Arcana, is associated with this alternate placement, which is also presumably where the XXII pattern of her hairpins comes from.

fealty_to_none is essentially the best way to sum up Balthier. He is fiercely independent and takes great pride in being without lord or country to serve. His whims are his own, the horizon his greatest mistress, and he holds little sacred. This is not to say he has no sense of honour or loyalty- on the contrary, Balthier will risk life and limb for those he cares for and their causes. But it is never out of a sense of fidelity to some abstract concept like a nation or the greater good. Rather he lives up to his ideal of freedom and choice, and offers his help to others because of who they are as people.

[evokemydread]

evokemydread is based on both the use of evokers and 'Burn My Dread'. It brings into mind that Minato's using his evoker to summon his feelings into a Persona, so I personally like to think he does with a mad smile while fighting dangerous, soul-nomming Shadows.
