[a video feed rolls, though nothing can really been seen on the screen. The camera lens is pointed up towards the sky, as if the communicator has been discarded onto the ground. A sound of movement can be heard, someone pacing around the device. It's safe to assume it just got bumped and turned on by accident.]

[A pause.] And what is "normal" for you?

[he gives a dismissing hand wave.] What else? To be back in the company of those I trust. To be back in my home city.

[so maybe that wasn't all true; Cesare didn't quite trust anyone back home. But it sounded normal enough.]

What about you?

It's...difficult to say. Home is not something I know.

Fair enough. Home is not always required to have a sense of normalcy.

What matters is- are you happy without a home?

Happy? It's difficult to say. I have nothing to compare it to.

I don't think you need to compare happiness to anything... maybe a better question is, are you content?

I never am. There is always something better to reach for.
