And neither will I. So, I guess this means we're at something of a standoff.

You were a slave, and yet you would by the freedom of others. You disgust me.

They took my wings. They made me a toy. They stripped everything away from me. Now I'm the master. And they won't do it again. What do I care who falls along the way? If I didn't do it first, they would have done the same to me.

Becoming what did they to you has allowed them to win. You turned, sure enough, and faced the tiger, but in doing so, you because a monster with it. If this is what you do with freedom, you are best left with your wings clipped.

If that's what it takes to belong only to myself, then I will damn well be the tiger. If playing their game keeps me my own, so be it.

And sealing others into your own fate? You disgust me. Tell me. Do you beat them? Ridicule them? Demean their humanity? Withhold clothing, food, a place to lay their heads? Do you delight in subjugating your little pets?
