[There's a slight bruise on one temple, but she's otherwise as fine as ever in appearance.] I'm all right. Tired, but all right.

[It seems a given, but,] And you?

Tired as well. There has been too much in a short amount of time. [She manages a small smile.] I will be spending the next few days at home resting. [For once.] You should rest as well.

[She smiles a little more, nodding.] Good, you deserve it. We all do, after something like that.

[She shakes her head.] Hopefully we can expect the usual several day break before the next thing hits.

If it works as it normally has then we will have a couple days to rest at least. I hope we all take advantage of it.

That reminds me -- I was thinking I could start working at the delivery service full-time, if you need me. But if there are others more in need of the job, I can stick to helping out like I have.

[She nods] Yeah. I think the only reason I've held out this long... is because I didn't want to make any commitments. Just in case.

[A small smile. That's changed, among other things.] So I'd like to.

I guess it was just reflex. I hoped that if I didn't make any extra effort to settle in, then maybe I'd be sent back. [A light, dismissive shrug] Something like that. A moot point either way.

Oh. [She pauses, looking thoughtful and Jill may recognise the expression that says something is wrong. She quickly masks it and nods.]

I would be more than happy to have you help full time. Thank you, Jill.

[A brief pause] Did I say something?

You have been around so long that I purposefully ignored the possibility that you could disappear any day.

[There's a solemn look of realization at that.]

...I consider that every once in a while. Someone could leave, and I'd be glad for them-- [in most cases.] --even if I did miss them. But then, I could leave and possibly not remember any of this.

[She touches the back of her neck thoughtfully, her smile a little bitter.] It's a crappy situation all around. But... for now, we're here.

[Her eyes look away from the camera, unfocused. After a moment she looks back into the camera she manages a small smile, meant to comfort Jill.]
