I'm from two-thousand-and-nine. I'm not the furthest back, but there are at least a handful of people here ahead of me.

I see. The closest I've heard of something like it would be Geisha and Courtesans, but those were... a long time ago. You don't hear much about it these days, and there's supposed to be a lot of regulation in how it's run. So I've heard, anyway.

That is still true. The Companion's Guild has a good many laws which they expect all Companions and clients to follow.
