[It had taken her a while to figure out the tablet. It was a technology she wasn't exactly familiar with. But once she had gotten the basics of how to work it, she was able to explore what it could do.
Her face appears while she's still messing around with the device. Obviously she hadn't realized it was already recording as she doesn't really say

Even when she does, there's a stunned moment before she replies, because -- it's been years, but... going by Claire's appearance, time periods aren't adding up. ...Again.]
Claire?
[A beat] Claire Redfield?

Jill? What are you doing here? You look... different.

...It's a long story. For now, you need to know that you're conscious, and that you've been abducted along with the rest of us.
[And she can be seen moving around her room, holding the tablet aloft as she goes.] I'll come to you -- give me a few minutes.
[Another brief pause] Are you armed?

[ The camera moves. She's getting up. Shes' a bit stiff, but she'll make it.]
Someone gave me directions. I can meet you part way.

I'll use the main road, so you'll see me coming from a way off. Stay alert, just in case.
[And she's on the move in under a minute, quickly making her way down the aforementioned road -- dressed casually, except for the gun strapped to her thigh and the couple cases on her belt. Not that they look that out of place on her, of all people.]

[She followed the directions she'd been given. The flat computer was awkward to carry and keep her gun at the ready, but she didn't want to just leave her only communication device behind. So she managed.
She spotted what looked like a person in the distance heading her way, and she picked up her pace to a jog. She called out when she thought she could be heard without shouting. No sense in waiting the neighbors so to speak.]
Jill?

Hey. I guess you've heard the typical greetings by now?

Yeah, it's been a remarkable change of pace. [She paused, switching gears.] So I've sort of been given the run down, but I have to ask. What the heck is going on? Is this for real?

For the most part, it's as they say. A large number of people -- as many as sixty, at one point -- have been abducted by one of the people running this place. They go by the names Hecate and Hades, as in the Greek gods. [She glances to the side, thoughtful.]
Whether or not you believe them is your call, but there's no doubt about it: they're strong. They're capable of a lot of things even you and I would call crazy.
The same goes for this place: if it's not the actual Greek Underworld, then it's pretty convincing.

So are we dead then? [She tried not to let the slight trepidation show in her voice, but Claire was ever a girl that wore her thoughts and feelings rather clearly on her face.]

The same can't be said of everyone here, though. Again, I know it sounds crazy, but... after a couple weeks here, not much comes as a surprise.

I'm guessing it's still 1998 for you. [She hesitates]
...Before I arrived here, the date was 2009.

Okay. So is Chris...? [She let it hang there, because she was almost afraid of the answer. The last she'd seen of him he'd been facing off against Alexia Ashford, Psycho Tyrant Bitch Queen of the South.]

[She looks at Claire directly, nodding slightly. In trying to explain Chris to others, Jill always felt that she fell short -- but Claire's a rare person who knows him even better than Jill does, so she figures she doesn't have to try as hard.]
...And a lot more, besides. It took time, but your brother just ended the nightmare for a lot of people.

She pulled herself back together as Jill continued with the news.]
Ended it? How? What happened?
