NAME: Kero(-chan)
BREED: Teddiursa
GENDER: ♂, Male
PERSONALITY: Kero likes sweet things. Scratch that - he loves sweet things. If there's a cake half a mile away, he'll smell it. If Sakura's dad is cooking cookies or cakes or anything like that, he'll smell that too, and sneak down and eat it all, and then lie on the floor with a satisfied grin on his face. Sakura has often found herself on the hard end of Kero's sweet tooth - and it has, occasionally, gotten her into trouble. Aside from having an uncanny sweet tooth, Kero is very loyal and dependable, though this may just be because he likes to lay around in the sun and stay with the person it cares about most, Sakura, and Sakura showers him with affection. Kero has also proved to be highly competitive - it once picked up a video game controller and beat Sakura's brother flat out, much to his annoyance. If there's a challenge from another trainer, Kero will fight to the end and refuse to give up, no matter what happens - even if it may run away and hide behind Sakura if something frightens it enough, but usually they face it together. Kero is also usually the one to spot injured pokémon, but it has little in the ways of finding out what is wrong with them.
HISTORY: Separated from his mother at a young age, the then Teddiursa was left out during long cold nights until it stumbled across Sakura. Sakura nursed him back to health, and with nowhere to go, then-Teddiursa followed her home, despite the fact she insisted he had to go home back to the wild with his mother, and that he couldn't stay. Whilst she was talking to the Teddiursa, Sakura's father came home and seeing the bond they had formed, decreed that he could stay, as Sakura was home by herself a lot of the time. Kero then spent the next two and a half years causing mischief by stealing all the cakes he could find, for the most part, and earning a reputation for appearing in a pokémart looking for the latest sweet item for it to eat. Despite that, it would always stay with Sakura when she was scared or frightened, and wake her up when she was going to be late for anything. As Sakura always helped any injured pokémon she found, Kero would often be the communicator between the two as Sakura grew to understand his words. He often remains that way today. When Sakura decided to be a trainer, Kero happily went along with her, and, with cake reserves in tow, travelled with her around Sinnoh. Kero never seemed to mind Tomoe's presence, but is often saddened by Mei stealing his precious sweets and Wolfie liking to be in charge and protect Sakura - but when they're in a tight spot and he can't defend Sakura, he doesn't complain.

NAME: Tomoe
BREED: Plusle
GENDER: ♀, Female
PERSONALITY: Tomoe is a cheerful Plusle who is always encouraging Sakura's other pokémon, and always cheering them on, be it in battle or with helping other trainers or pokémon with their troubles. She is also motherly and caring, and often gets any pokémon to open up to her, even Sakura's own, if Mei herself doesn't do it. Tomoe is very calm and clearheaded and never rashly judges a persons character, and is very accepting of just about everyone and everything. She's not much of a fighter, but she has a valued place on Sakura's team and can inflict quite a shock if she needs to. Tomoe is the only one of Sakura's pokémon that actually gets along with her brother to some extents, as she is so accepting of others.
HISTORY: Tomoe is the Plusle that was caught for Sakura by her brother, the day before she was due to earn herself a starter pokémon. Tomoe immediately got on with all Sakura's family members and Kero, and quickly warmed to Sakura and never had any quarms against her - always happy to be supportive of its new found family and friends. Tomoe showed she wasn't much of a fighter during battles, as she preferred to support others, making her vital in a two-on-two battle, but if she had to fight, she would always do her best.

NAME: Wolfie
BREED: Growlithe
GENDER: ♂, Male
PERSONALITY: Mostly stoic, Wolfie rubs off as a cold pokémon to everyone it meets, often sending cold glares off in their direction if it finds them threatening. The only person that he's ever shown to care about is Sakura, and that's mostly where the threatening looks come from - it has an underlying sense of loyalty to its trainer and will never, ever let her down, and Sakura trusts Wolfie heavily because of that. Even if it's sometimes a bit overprotective, and likes to shoot out Ember first and ask questions later. In short, the way to being Sakura's friend is to get past Wolfie. Wolfie does, however, appreciate that Sakura will often talk to strangers and on the first meeting tends to stay in the background unless it feels she is being threatened. Making the wrong impression will cause it to hate you for a long, long time. Unlike Kero, Wolfie has a hatred of sweet things and cannot stand to eat anything, be it a berry or not, that is sweet. Wolfie sees Touya as a threat to his role of protector of Sakura and tends to often get into fights with him.
HISTORY: Wolfie was a Growlithe Sakura encountered on her travels - and, at the time, was her first wild pokémon she considered capturing, as she knew that she needed a strong willed pokémon in case she ended up in a tough situation, due to Kero's occasional status of chickening out and Tomoe being little in the way of a fighter. After a long battle of wearing the determined Growlithe down, Sakura managed to succeed in capturing it. At first, Wolfie was always bitter to Sakura, and even seemed to reserve its glares for her, too - and not even Kero's glares back would stop it. Eventually though, the ice around Wolfie's heart began to melt and it began to see how good Sakura was, as Sakura always treated him with kindness and gave him the best she possibly could, be it food or affection or just a scratch behind the ears. It has since seemingly decided Sakura is the person it wants to protect, and Wolfie goes all out for her in any situation when he's called into battle, or to protect her from just about anything, and he does it without fail. When he does happen to fail her in battle, he always looks downcast that its his fault until Sakura cheers him up, and then he's back to his usual, stoic, protective self.

NAME: Mei
BREED: Happiny
GENDER: ♀, Female
PERSONALITY: Mei is a Happiny with an attitude - she's very headstrong and bold, and will often go rushing into situations even when she can't handle it, but only due to her loyalty to Sakura. She's not the strongest pokémon, but her iron will and confidence make up for that. She's always ready to lend a hand, even as support, if it is needed. She has a habit of stealing Kero's sweet feeds and eating them herself just to annoy him. Mei also has an admiration for Wolfie, and seems to want to be strong just like him. Mei also has the instincts of a would-be-Chansey - she is rather motherly and likes to take care of the others, but sometimes gets distracted or easily frustrated if she can't get to the bottom of things and then Tomoe takes this role instead. Mei also likes round objects and tends to collect them, even if they're worthless stones, though sometimes finds something valuable - though is reluctant to part with it.
HISTORY: Mei is one of many pokémon Sakura has helped over the years. In Mei's case, she decided to leave her group of Happiny and explore alone, and thus ended up getting lost and lonely, and crying by herself. Sakura was the one who found her, and helped her out. Mei then decided to go back to the wild by herself whilst Sakura entered the nearest town, but after another few days of being by herself Mei reappeared before Sakura, and insisted she come along, as the life of loneliness wasn't what she wanted - and she could that inside, Sakura was strong and could probably counter her strong willed moods. It took a while for the two to get used to each others fighting styles, but Mei has since proved useful and always invaluable despite the fact she thinks herself more of a hard horned Rhydon than a small, cute pokémon like Happiny.
