i'm pissed that this came out of our city. one of the moms from the attatchment parenting community i'm in posted it and has emailed dr.sears personally.

"Dr. Sear's" is wrong. He is not Dr. Sear. He is Dr. Sears. It should be "Dr. Sears's" or "Dr. Sears'"

And in general, this irritates me. Grr.

Sears' or Sears's. Both are acceptable, depending on whose stylesheet you prefer. :)

And yeah, I can't say that I blame you. That's insanity.

I'm glad that Dr. Sears' appearance is apparently making people think twice and ask questions about CIO. Now if only there weren't people like these reassuring them... :(
