got to the Police Station just after 7 this morning, first thing the cop said to me was "did you know your license was suspended?"...so not only am I charged with not Yielding the Right of Way, but I was driving with a suspended license. So I have no car, I can't drive and I have to appear in court on the 16th. Got someone to open up the lot where

Do you have to go to the Danbury courthouse? I'll talk to my mom tomorrow and see if she has any advice. She can usually get speeding tickets to disappear, but probs not something like this, but she might have some good advice.

When my first car burnt up, everyone said things like. "at least your ok" which is true, but I never found it particularly comforting. I'm sorry about your car, it sucks a lot, especially when you really like your car.

yeah the white street court house. Thankfully I know why my license is suspended and thats one of the things I hope to accomplish before work today. It's the same problem I had last yr when trying to get insurance for Nicholas. My license number was copied down wrong when I took my driver's retraining course and even though they have MY INFORMATION Better Driver's of CT didn't try to resolve the issue and just let it go, knowing my license would be suspended. So I called them up last yr and she said she'd fax the fixed one into the dmv and call me back. I even called her back 3-4 times after not hearing from her and got a busy signal everytime. Thinking she was older than me and SHOULD BE more responsible, I figured she had done it. Boy was I wrong. So I'm going to call, have them fax it to the DMV while I am one the phone, and or RIGHT AFTER i HANG UP and have them fax it to me as well so I have a copy for the court, and then if I need to hang up I will personally be calling them right back
