so here's an interesting threat I received upon being picked up from school:

If I don't lose weight, mommy's taking out $100 a month for what she's paying for college. And by lose weight I mean each time she sees me I have to be smaller.

Hell of a threat - you already're fit and such, what more does she want?
Unrealistic and potentially insane expectations are often the most fun.

yea. basically, I have to be anorexic and run like 30 miles a week. which is not so fun but has been done (e.g. crosscountry junior year). but at the same time, it is somewhat motivating

UGH! what a horrible thing to say and to threaten you buy taking away money. thats pathetic. Too bad she just can't say "monica would be ok with losing weight?" or she could just not care and never say anything. BAH HUMBUG! i'm sorry monica. I'm here to help and support.
