[His mouth his hanging open in a small soundless "oooooohhh...", not sure what to make of the dream, but finding it amazing all the same.]

Wow, sir. I... just wow.

Hm?

...what is it, Luke?

Nothing, I just... I've never seen someone keep their cool like that in such a situation.

It would hardly suit a commander to lose one's head in a situation like that, would it not? Keeping a calm mind even under fire means keeping your men alive.

Very intriguing. One learns such interesting things from dreams, don't you think?

One might. And yet, some dreams are merely dreams.

Oh, dreams are just that, I agree; and yet often through dreams, one may find themselves remembering things one had thought forgotten. The human mind is such a complex place.

I agree.

I wonder why I dreamt of that. I suppose we may never understand the true workings of our minds and memories.

A look at your past, Khushrenada-san?

Indeed.

I was a Captain then.

I can tell how skilled you are. Though, circumstances like that aren't all that pleasant.

Truly, an unfortunate turn of events. Thankfully, the rebels were suppressed with minimal casualties.

Your compliments are most appreciated, my Lady.

...A shame that such an event had to ruin a ball as lovely as that.

It was a magnificent event - truly, a shame. Though I believe that was the point of the matter.

I have experienced my fair share of events similar to that, as well. I still fail to understand why one cannot wait until the ball has finished before they begin their attack.

They were trying to take us off-guard, naturally - to take dignitaries and officials hostage.

A pity about the timing.

Hope those sudden "interruptions" didn't happen often.

They did not. That was rare.
