It's just mostly dead

Well on Thursday my phone died a silent death. I was jogging back from the bank talking with my beloved and gorgeous wifey when it just decided to completely shutoff and go dead. Okay, so that means one of two things:

A. Somehow it got wet, how I have no idea, and then later dried out and worked again.

OR

B. It has a short in it, the circuit's insides somewhere.

I am betting since I know your area probably isn't humid enough, nor do I think you were THAT sweaty, in order to get it wet, I am betting it is option B.

It has a short in it somewhere, in which case, its operation will be unreliable and you NEED the replacement anyway.

My opinion bro.

Ditto that assessment. But yeah, "Did I or did I not just explain to you in detail..." is a phrase I keep having pop up in my head every day in class. What is it with people these days and a total lac of original thought or critical thinking skills??

There's a guy in my EMT class who can be counted on: Every time the instructor explains something in detail, he turns around and basically asks the exact thing clarified, only now it's a question - "so are we having lecture after the test?" right after the game plan has been explained that we are having lectures.

It's funny but it's also kind of annoying.
