- I'm going to New York Fashion Week from Sept 4-7 to report for Speakeasymag.com as well as my fashion blog/sightsee/be dazzled/meet up with Amy for a cup of coffee whenever she's not busy. Right now I'm crossing my fingers in hopes of getting accepted for a press pass

how are you getting to NYC? is speakeasy going to cover everything?

and how are you going to do speakeasy PLUS acrn now if you're not a student? they're both student run so i think once you're not longer an enrolled student, you can't be in either organizations.

Well way to rain on my parade, negative nancy

I'm getting to NYC with my Dad by car, and though that'd probably be a terrible idea, I could care less. If you're talking about cost coverage, I'm basically paying for whatever expenses because I don't mind doing so and I was going to go anyways, reporting-wise would be a summary of what I've seen in the weekend that I stay there.

Second, if I'm not a student then it looks like I'm going to have to squat in my room for a whole quarter from the way you put it. Hopefully my bills get situated because I'd be very upset if that's not the case.

Thank you for letting me know that there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

i highly enjoy the fact that you will have enough money to drive there, possibly rent a hotel, eat, PLUS (so it appears) pay for tickets to be part of fashion week, yet you cannot "raise" enough money to go to college. it's touching to finally see someone who has her priorities straight.

and to the second anonymous poster, i also enjoy how maturely you reacted to my post when all i did was ask some simple questions to clarify some things in her entry. if she is going to be an editor or writer, then she should be able to handle these questions and respond to them gracefully and politely. and if by asking simple questions about her situation (which i do care about) then i suppose everyone who askes caring questions will soon commit suicide.
