Upon returning home, my father gave me an envelope that just arrived this morning; it was an envelope from Scripps and it contained amazing news.

I'm a student at Scripps! Good news and heart sinking because I'll have to attend classes with a bunch of holier-than-thou classmates. But you'll find that within many majors.

Anyways, woo hoo!

holier-than-thou classmates aren't so bad (trust me, philosophy is chock full of them). just let them mouth off in class and quietly get better grades than them.

Speaking of Philosophy, i have a 1st year grad student teaching my philosophy class and he's VERY pretty:)
