i was pretty shocked, actually. i hadn't heard that he was ill and i just saw him hanging out with the kerry campaign. i cried like the loser i am.

at the time of his death he had several hundred guns. i love that.

that is the great journalist, the doctor of GONZO, "fear and loathing in las vegas" the movie... he has written MANY wonderful books, and is by far my most favorite writer.
