talkin bout man's best friend

we had to put my dog to sleep on wednesday. my mom called my cell phone after school to tell me, and i came right home. he couldnt even get up out of his bed, he hardly even noticed that i was there. and i could only be with him for 15 minutes bc i had to go to a jazz choir gig. i barely got to say goodbye...hes the ( Read more... )

I'm sorry your dog is gone - I know how it feels. It helps to talk to other people who have lost a pet - other people might sympathize, but they don't really get it.
I have dreams all the time about my rabbits coming back to life - I had one last night. It takes forever for these things to go away. I hope you are not too sad :o)

I'm so sorry you lost your dog. I understand how that feels, when you're so close to your pet that it's like a member of the family, then it dies. I understand that feeling completely because I've gone through a few pet deaths. I hope you feel better. So here's an online sympathy flower for you.

annie, im really sorry about mooch. i know it's difficult...ive had to deal with two dog deaths...and even though they happened about 10 years ago...i still miss them. just remember that he had a very good life...and now he's in place where he's no longer in pain. and our pets that pass away sort of have a way of resurfacing...hallie has the exact same personality and mannerisms as our dog jake did..she's just like him...only smaller...and with a vagina....

Oh no!!!!! I'm really, really sorry, Annabelle!!!!!! Amber and I had to cope with the death of our golden retriever, Bubba, about ten years ago. I remember it being really painful. Bubba was our first dog, too. Take comfort in the memories of the years you had with Mooch and the love you showed him.
