today in english we were talking about race and such and it all seemed really hipocritical. I mean here we are at our white suburban school with one asian kid as our only representative of a minority. Then we only have teacher who decided to lead a campaign for native american indians. I dunno cause i think it is important but i dont think that

Nice entry. It's def a tricky situation...in eighth grade we had this teacher who was practically a Communist, and he taught the Ethics class, where we basically debated moral issues and such. Sometimes it was bad having such an opinionated teacher cause he would tell us his views and said why he was right and we were wrong; but he was also provoking us to be able to defend our views and stand up for ourselves. We have convos like that in English this year, and I love being able to voice my opinion on a subject...I guess that's why I like Model UN. The only bad part about that class is Joe Oriko saying the most dumbass and politically incorrect things that it's ridiculous.
