[Having finally gotten his flagpole up, Alfred immediately got a flag and set it up. And not a day too soon for today was Veterans' Day! And of course he would celebrate it. He didn't know if this town would hold parades or anything--he really highly doubted it-- but it didn't mean he couldn't celebrate himself

Doesn't have to be! I mean, it's a holiday that originated in America, yeah, but since there's all sorts of people here I figure why can't the concept apply to them, too, you know? Soldiers everywhere should be remembered and honored for the work they've done.

Veterans' Day! Since there wasn't any parades here to celebrate, I decided to have a barbecue instead.
