The other day, I went to Best Buy to take back a few spindles of CDRs I had bought. They are the Light Scribe kind and I meant to buy the white ones meant for ink jet printers. Ugh-Speaking from a retail perspective-they didn't handle that situation very well. If you were an ass hole, you could probably get a rad lawyer and sue them for some ridiculous reason.
If they had a suspicion about you, they should have offered you REALLY good customer service to make sure you weren't stealing, and to ensure you were finding what you needed. And they definately should have communicated a concern to the person watching the door...So that a situation like the man jogging after you-would never happen.

I can see why they'd be a little uneasy about a guy with a bag..I get uneasy too, when Im at work.But they should have just kept a close eye on you, and then noticed that your bag was just as full as when you came in.

At least you kept your cool bro, because some people would have lost it.heh.
