I'm sorry. I'll refrain from trying to be all wisdomy and annoying cuz that won't help right now. But don't make this any more difficult than it has to be becuase you didn't do anything wrong, it's just stupid human pride. It sucks, but don't flagelate yourself for that. Just honor your friend in whatever way you can.
