When I moved back to my hometown two years ago I was reluctant to leave my life in New York, but excited to be back “home.” I have always taken pride in where I came from. The roots of progressivism are in Wisconsin. We can boast about leaders like Fighting Bob LaFollette. Wisconsin has a long tradition of both social welfare and social activism.

I walked the lakeshore bike path from College Library to Steenbock. After months of glaring coolly at me, the sun felt warm on the back of my neck. I performed in my last (regular season)show with Kanopy this weekend. I was rather nervous about the whole show derailing, but it ended up being a rousing success...huge audiences and good reviews.
