She must have been insecure about her own beliefs to not be able to hear someone else's. Either that or intolerant to differing ideas. Her loss.

How about both. You would think that the time for intolerant would have long passed but for Native Americans it looks like that time will never come to pass. We have given so much and get so little back. All we ask is to be treated as human beings. Is that too much to ask?

But you know, she likely brings the same unwillingness to other ideals that differ. A lot of people are too intimidated by their own limited Ness to be able to defend their own beliefs, let alone hear someone else's.
