I have friends who can stumble into love without even realizing what happened. And I have friends who barely tasted it, but it was just enough to change them into something I don't remember becoming friends with.
Personally, I think love is just another word for fear. Fear of being alone.
That's why some people go their whole life's not worrying about it, while others can't seem to live without that feeling.
Oh, and I know exactly what you're talking about when you were talking about being reminded of someone by certain songs or objects. That still happens with me, even when the people those songs and objects remind me of are the absofuckinglute last thing on my mind at that point. It's almost like love's version of a hangover.
Well, hope this makes you feel better, or something.
Yeah, the funny thing is, that little **'s part is probably something you would agree with, since you probably know who its directed at. Haha...love's version of a hangover. I like that. Very poetic, Bret. =P Thanks for sharing.
ok i didnt read this whole entry cause its kinda long but i do want to say even if you really loved that person that things remind you of, one day youl realize being upset was a waste of time - and im sure youve heard that before but i never believed it until one day i saw the person that made me a horrible mess for about 2 and a half years and just thought 'wow he really wasnt worth it' - it will feel really good when that happens very enlightening
Love is what fuels the world. You can't deny the fact that at some point in your life something happens at some moment and you feel completely alive because of it. Then there is the other side of things, which isn't always the greatest, seeing that you lose that sense of well-being. But I think everyone has the ability to be compatible with someone in life and if things don't work out, that person will still remain a piece of you, with memories of better times.
That was awesome, it really helped me because I've been freaking out trying to make sure that my situation is "true love" or "everlasting love" and your so right, you just have to live it and enjoy the fact that there is love. And that song will always and forever hold a special place in my heart and bring a tear to my eye, I'd totally forgotten about it for a little bit. Thank you for that entry, and your not crazy lol. I haven't talked to you in a long time but I saw this on HuTcH's friends page and just thought I should comment seeing as you said feel free to =P ~Jessica Linden~
Wow, I thinks thats really cool that you read that...and that it actually made an impact on you. =) And yes, that is a very special song...I think it always will be for some of us.

the good memories will always make you feel like you want it again but hopefully instead of bringing you down they will just make you smile
