There's something about taking strange candy that has fallen to the ground from the sky and consuming it that strikes me as just a bit off.

The five second rule doesn't and never did apply.

I think I'll pass.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the candy was suspicious.

Seriously. I don't like the little words on them either.

How have you been anyway, Hiiragi?

Neither do I.

Rather good, actually. The Chinese New Year festival was fun. A pity the deities don't make curse days like that more often.

And you? You left the city for a while, didn't you?

Chinese New Year festival? Damn. That would have been great to have been around for. It's a shame I missed that one.

I did. I got a chance to do a few things I'd been needing to do... But I guess I'm stuck back here again.

What's the five second rule?

It's an expression. If food drops on the floor, it's okay to eat as long as it's been picked up within five seconds. Any longer than five seconds, and you it's no longer good.

...why? It's still the same food, right? Does it change the flavor?

...I've always eaten it anyway, hahaha...

You know what? Probably. The ground probably soaks it right up!

WHY.

What if you caught it in a bucket first?

Was the bucket clean?
