One of Midii's powers includes the ability to sense other people's emotions, sometimes so strongly that it becomes difficult for her to discern them from her own.  This also gives her knowledge of whether or not somebody is telling the truth (or believes they are), based on their reactions.  Basically, an extension of her honed observation skills

And feel free to use the power on Maggie here as well. If Midii has trouble discerning emotions from her own, she should be careful not to stand too near Maggie in a bookstore or library, she might be overcome with an urge to read every thing in front of her. ;)

If it's something as completely out of character as the desire to do something she wouldn't normally do, Midii would probably be able to tell that it wasn't her feeling it.

She's messed up as it is already without having to deal with that particular side effect. Which means it'll probably still happen to a small degree.

Pink is kind of hard to read emotions off of. Unless he's drunk, drugged, or just coming from a performance, his emotions will feel distant, like they're coming from behind some kind of... y'know. Wall. She'll still be able to get a sense from him, but not as strong as most people, I imagine.

O.O OH OKAY THEN

When a person's emotions are blocked, Midii will most likely just sense this empty "hole" where the feelings would normally be. Mainly because it's hard to describe just how strongly some of the emotions are compared to others in that sense.
