He flew into a tree last night and after I helped him he followed us to that 'centre' place.

He's ever so friendly and follows me and Pooh everywhere.

Does this mean he's mine?

Well, Pooh Bear looks like a bear and Owl looks like an owl so I guess so.

I never considered that you could "catch" injured Pokémon simply by helping them. That's a very noble thing to do, actually.
