Warnings: Spoilers for the Eureka Seven manga, laser beams and burns?
Dream Effects: [Optional] Generally a lot of determination, love, and pain.
Filter: From Anemone, for IC sake.
He smiles, and then he jumps--out of the 'safety' of the
typeZERO, and onto the black cable below that connects the LFO to
theEND.
(To be honest, he's nervous. After all, this is the most reckless and suicidal thing he's ever done in his entire life--and somehow, that thought frees him.)
He lands safely. That's one obstacle down, and one very significant obstacle left to go: making it across alive.
(He doesn't look back, only ahead, because that's the only direction that matters. Ahead.)
TheEND fires beams around him, but even then he doesn't stop. He only falters when one skims by him, scorching through his clothes, burning his back, his hands, the edges of his face--at one point, the pain blends together until he can't tell where it hurts anymore.
(Even through the pain, he thinks of a girl, a girl he has to reach and he can't stop now--)
His foot slips and he almost falls off as, amidst the pain, a flash of fear courses through him. Then, he regains his balance and the fear disappears. He grits his teeth and, bearing the pain, continues running.
(He's almost there now, but even if he were miles away, he wouldn't give up. He'll go to the ends of the earth if it'll save her.)
Wounded, tired, but successful, he climbs onto theEND. A brief moment is spent feeling relieved, but he allows himself only that one moment before he opens the cockpit, bracing himself to see Anemone again.
(He made it.)

[Dominic wakes up to pain, letting out a hiss as he does before he puts his hand over his shoulder. Once he regains his senses, the instinctive surprise wears off. He's already learned what's going on, fortunately.
Still, it hurts like hell, and he just hopes that these burns aren't infected like the original ones. At least he still has the supplies he retrieved when he first arrived here...
The Dreamberry clicks off as he goes to treat his wounds.]
