[At first he was going to call, but that seemed too demanding. Tactless though he is, he's not completely insensitive. He understands - though it's nothing like this, it can't even compare to this - what it is to have the entire damn place trampling over things you dearly wish could have just stayed private for no more reason than they're bored and it was there. And yet... well, he feels he's got to say something, even if it's no help. Even if all Dominic does is ignore it - what he does is up to him. But he can at least make the offer.

[To anyone who's received one of Ken's careless, barely-grammatical, ill-spelled and abbreviation-riddled text messages before this one is going to look pretty atypical, but there's a time and a place for everything. He's often clueless, but he isn't totally dumb.]
