misc tl;dr
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Naruto is...short. According to official databooks, he's only 5'4" in current canon. The grace of age he's gone through in game canons has granted him a couple more inches, but unless he experiences a really late growth spurt, that's about as good as it gets for him. Considering how tall most of the rest of the major characters are, he's practically a midget.
As for build, Naruto's obviously well-muscled due to being a ninja who constantly trains, and his body type is more stocky. His limbs seem lean enough but his torso is solid and thick.
2. How old is he?
16 at the point in canon he's from; 18 due to his time in two games.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
he walks confidently; looking straight ahead when he walks, but he does slouch a bit.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
...ninja. SO not out of shape. the Kyuubi makes him almost immune to poison, illness, and any drugs or alcohol. ALMOST.
body type wise, Naruto's canonly stocky. I imagine his body to look more or less like this; wider torso and well muscled. though I imagine his arms being a bit longer and leaner.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
VERY clumsy, at least when he's not fighting. there's no grace or rhythm to his movements at all. but he is a ninja who's very aware of his body, so it's not like he's constantly tripping or bumping into things. he's just graceless. in battle, it's a bit of a different story. not like ZOMG 180 DEGREES, but there's a definite fluidity to his movements; in animation terms, fast movement and short stops.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
that depends? he's definitely masculine in all his features but still pretty baby-faced. and he doesn't really think about looks because it's just not relevant to his interests at all. sometimes he fusses with his hair because it's pretty fluffy, but that's kinda it.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
because of the Kyuubi, Naruto doesn't really...scar. Sasuke once drove his hand through Naruto's shoulder and there's no sign of it anywhere.
Naruto has a pinkish complexion that's fairly dark, no doubt due to how much time he spends outside.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Really light blond! Not pale, but bright. he keeps his hair short but a bit shaggy; it's starting to fall into his eyes. he's got a ton of hair and though the hairs are fine, there's just SO MUCH that it comes off as thick. it's soft generally but also straggly, almost kinda straw-feeling especially towards the back/ends.
9. What color are his eyes?
Bright blue, cyan.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
There are the obvious whisker marks on his face, which are never explained or even remarked upon in canon (to my memory)
11. What are his chief tension centers?
his neck and shoulders, mainly. when he gets irritated or angry or is hiding something (all of which happen often), he stiffens and straightens his posture a bit.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
totally casual, bright colors... sometimes t-shirts with graphics or some text, but no patterns or logos. he has no sense of fashion or style at all, just a jeans and t-shirt kind of kid who likes bright colors.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
they fit! slightly baggy for comfort but not too much.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
he wears coveralls for his farm job and a lot of safety gear for the factory; sweatshirts when he runs and shirtless when he trains. otherwise, same deal 8|

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
canonly, it's a woman trying to sound masculine, but I'm kinder and picture him with an actual male voice ?_? tenor, to be sure, bordering on baritone at times but still sounding young. it's got a rough edge to it (from all the yelling?!)
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
...um. his default is loud, all the time. he talks easily until he's embarrassed or uncomfortable, then he stalls a lot and punctuates sentences with tons of "uh"s and "um"s.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He swears CONSTANTLY. His grammar is also imperfect, not for lack of fluency but lack of finesse or anything. He just sounds like a rough and tumble kid, which he kinda was.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English fluency, because of Neo and the Port, and Japanese is his native. he can still speak the latter if he really concentrates. I imagine that Naruto's Japanese would sound imperfect and strange to an actual Japanese person of Earth; sure, they speak normal Japanese in canon, but language is too fluid for there not to be some variances in the two languages evolved, between two different worlds.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
not really, no. I suppose if given a good enough reason, he'd try speaking Japanese, but since everyone in the Port speaks English anyway, it doesn't really matter.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
he's impromptu most of the time, but when he tries to talk about something about which he's vulnerable, he has to really think about what to say and how, because he's really inarticulate. so there's this conflict about being honest and exposed and trying to say what he wants to say and saying it right, and not wanting to lose face. HE R TUFF MANRI MAN, pfft.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
COMPLETELY inarticulate. he makes grand, sweeping statements that blow people away, but it's pouring straight from his heart without being diluted, and that's what makes it powerful more than the words he uses, and he's just letting himself run off. if he actually tried to think about what he was saying before he said it, it'd probably come out a lot more awkwardly and possibly unsure.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
STREET SMART! As I said in his personality tl;dr, Naruto's not RETARDED. he IS smart, just not in ways that people usually notice or consider smarts.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
THINKS ON HIS FEET! of course, this gets him in trouble a lot...
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
ALMOST COMPLETELY INTUITIVE. he's an extremely reactive person. canonly, he's extremely idealistic, but this Naruto is more like...practical with an idealistic edge.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
ninja academy! graduated at 12. has memories of/went to normal high school in Neo, but he promptly forgot all that "useless junk".
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
...um. being a ninja? 8|a various martial arts techniques, ninja weapons... strategy doesn't interest him at all but he knows in the back of his mind he should try it.
otherwise, he loveloveLOVES plants. he only really ever has non-flowering plants, mainly ferns and ficus, but if given the opportunity for a garden, he'd want to make it nice.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
uhhhh EXTROVERT.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
oh my god. Naruto is ridiculously cheerful and friendly but he has a hair-trigger temper, and once angered can keep going for quite a while or escalate to rage with frightening speed if the right buttons are pushed. he's extremely driven and never gives himself a break.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
he's friendly and gets used to new people fairly easily, unless they do or say things to put him off. and he tends to hold that low opinion for a while until he sees the other person's underbelly.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
REACT.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
FIGHT.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
canonly, Naruto doesn't get wit much at all, and sarcasm some. his humor was mainly prank-type. after his time in Neo and the Port, Naruto's slowly and awkwardly learning a sense of humor and wit.

Many would argue that he has ADD or ADHD; if he does, he's extremely lucky that his rigid self-discipline has overcome many, if not all the pitfalls of living with it.

he hatessssssss people his own age knowing about the Kyuubi. he's kinda...used to it with adults, but considering that he NEVER tells anyone in canon? and just...the fact that most anybody would develop issues from such a thing...he's got hang-ups. (thankfully canon recently vindicated me, ahaha)

uh. they're dead. and he has no idea who they are.

nnnnnnnnnope.

NNNNNNO. I mean, Jiraiya was his godfather/grandfather and they were close, if that counts :|a and Tsunade's like a grandmother to him.

HE HAS FOUR! There's no competition in his head; there's room for all of them equally :> Sakura and Sasuke, Gaara, and Shikamaru.
