If I had money, I would attempt to bribe you to write this bath scene in it's entirety with a suitably hot climax. Bath fic is a weakness of mine, but there seems to be a lack of it in this fandom, which is so very sad :(

The incorporation of fanons (is that a word, or did I imagine it?) idea of the band sort of corrupting Brendon a bit (alcohol etc), works nicely in the setting. I shall imagine in my head how the bath scene would have gone.

I went on about it a bit more in the comment below! It's a major weakness of mine too, especially when there's an initial illusion of innocence about it, like here. Man, that's the best. :9

One of my very very favorite things in AUs is taking something that happened in canon and making it happen the same way (or similarly) in another world, I like the feeling of inevitability it gives a story, and I think if done deftly it even can reflect well on one's canon ideals. Did that make sense? Idk! Shared bathtimes are sexy!

At the very least, I just want to see where this bathtub scene was going to go, because there has only been nakedness and leg touching and it's already VERY hot!!

You know, I'm not sure where it was going to go! Thinking on it right now though, I probably would have dragged it out awhile, let Ryan coax him into the bath again and again, petulantly insisting that it'd be foolish to make the maid bring up hot water more than once, getting Brendon more and more used to the little touches, his insistence on washing Brendon's back and once, his hair. And every time they get out, Ryan's half-hard, and Brendon's still so confused by everything, mumbling that's he's going to stay in a bit longer as Ryan kisses his wet forehead and says he'll ring for supper.

I think finally Ryan tugs Brendon over to lie between his legs in the bath, and Brendon's trembling and so, so hard, and Ryan just whispers in his ear that it's okay, he doesn't have to be afraid, and he kisses Brendon's throat, then he slides his hand up Brendon's thigh and grasps his cock.
