A/N: My Hetalia headcanon... Yeah. Not much to say. I'll be coming back to do edits as I come up with more.
1. Veneziano’s always inviting Spain and Romano to come on double dates with he and Germany. Spain likes Romano's brother too much to refuse, but it’s always awkward for everyone but Veneziano.
2. Germany and England always get really embarrassed whenever Veneziano or America (respectively) do something stupid.
3. France and Russia really don’t know what to think of each other, so they both mostly pretend that the other doesn’t exist.
4. Human names are only used by close friends, family, or lovers-all of the nations (even Veneziano and America) know how powerful names are.
5. Every time GerIta and Spamano go on one of their double dates, Veneziano and Romano end up getting into some sort of trouble, and Germany and Spain have to sort it out.
6. When England needs help with relationships, he goes to France. When he needs help with America, he goes to Canada.
7. America loves Canada a lot more than people think. He’s always shocked when he finds out that the other nations think he doesn't care.
8. France tones down their relationship because of Canada, but he understands that he’s just shy, and not ashamed.
9. Sometimes Norway worries that Denmark doesn’t really care about him. So to prove himself, Denmark takes Norway on some romantic getaway in America or the Caribbean. (Norway always believes him after that.)
10. People stop on the street quite often to comment on how cute Sweden and Finland are together. Sweden gets embarrassed and (due to his lack of people skills) often ends up scaring them away.
11. Prussia acts like he doesn’t like Veneziano and scowls at West’s relationship. Even so, he has to hid a smile every time he sees Veneziano and Germany together.
12. England and America fight a lot, and they know exactly which buttons to press, so their fights usually end up with one of them in tears. The other always feels awful afterwards.
13. Scotland would do anything to protect England. The first time he met America after he and England got together, he warned him never to hurt his little brother.
14. Prussia and Romano are fairly good friends. They bonded one night (at a bar after Spain and France passed out) over their younger brothers.
15. Lately, Veneziano has been turning to Germany a lot when he gets into trouble-and Romano doesn’t know how to handle that.
16. America hates it when people remind him that England called him “brother” when he was little.
17. America gets frustrated easily, and he doesn’t really know how to take that out in any way other than a physical one. England is trying to break him of that habit, but it’s hard.
18. England worries about all of his former colonies a lot. It secretly hurts him every time Sealand hurls a curse at him for being such a bad father.
19. Japan ships GerIta. He loves the fact that his two friends can find something so special in each other, and he never feels like a third wheel in the relationship.
20. When Germany was little, Prussia used to read him a story every night before bed. Then he’d tuck him in and let him fall asleep. He’d always check in on him a few times during the night before he went to bed himself.
21. Prussia gave Germany his last name in an attempt to keep his brother from forgetting him-but as soon as he left Prussia’s house, Germany dumped the last name and just went by “Ludwig”. He has no idea how much it hurt Prussia that he did so.
22. Denmark’s human name is Mathias Christensen. Once, at a world conference, America called him “Matt”, and he freaked out. He doesn’t mind if Norway calls him that-in private, anyway.
23. Norway’s human name is Lukas Johansen.
24. It frustrates Romano to no end that people refer to he and his brother as “Italy and Romano”. This is partially because his brother’s name, technically, is Veneziano, and partially because he thinks “Romano and Veneziano” sounds better.
