Very Time Traveler's Wife. I like it. There's definitely a lot of history there that Peter is unaware of because it hasn't happened to him yet. The flashback was great and I'm interested to see what Claire actually tells Peter (the present version, that is). I also liked the humor in this chapter (for example, when Claire yells to Lyle that there's an old man in her room and then when Claire calls Peter a freak in the dialogue at the end). Can't wait to see what happens next!

i loved the time traveler's wife and there are a few elements in this story which are borrowed from that book. they arent credited properly in the title bc i dont want people to know whats going to happen, but after i post the last chap there is going to be a (very) extended notes section and i will talk about it in there. i say this now because i dont want you to think im ripping anyone off :)

Ha! Love that she calls him "Old Man". I loved 16 y/o Claire's reaction to an unknown man showing up in her bedroom. Looking forward to what comes next.

I've been MIA with work, but you know I love this story! The change in perspective (or POV?) and the plot, argh, kills me with its plotiness. And nice to picture "old man" Peter being friends with teenage Claire. So sweet. ;-)
