So, my giftee was montisello and I got her two gifts! This is the second one.

The prompt was: montisello decided to "give in to her shameless Logan adoration and say the whole fanmix should focus on him". She also gave I'm not my father's child as a prompt, and I thought that

The SMITHS??? Oh, wow, while I had always thought of How Soon is Now is a good Logan song, I had never thought of There's a Light that Never Goes Out, which... yeah. I totally see that. And my shipper heart just cries out that VERONICA is his light.

And Ben Folds did Such Great Heights? Was he the first? I know Postal Service's version, but knew only dimly that it was a cover. It'll be interesting to see what his take on it is.

Boys Don't Cry. Perfect. The others I'm not that familiar with, and you seem to have a thing for Italian music? I will have to hear them!

I think Postal Service's version is the original and Ben Folds's is the cover, but I like his version better, so. :) I almost didn't include that one, but, man, the lyrics I quoted reminded me so badly of the whole we're epic thing, I just didn't resist.

The weird non-english songs are Brazilian, actually. I'm Brazilian, and when I'm making my mixes, I always think of a bunch of Brazilian stuff that would fit perfectly, and I can't use them. :( So I always add one Brazilian song to each of my mixes, so I can at least use one of them, you know? It's sort of my thing when making mixes, hope you don't mind.

Hope you like the rest of the songs! Hopefully you'll find they remind you of Logan as well.

Iron & Wine does the original Such Great Heights. Then a million and one other artists covered it. =]

Wikipedia makes it sounds like the Iron & Wine version is a cover of Postal Service. Anyway, I still like Ben Folds version better. *shrugs*

I hadn't even thought of how Boulvard of Broken Dreams was a great song for Logan until I read this fanmix. It's inspired but since I dont' think I've heard any of the other songs I can't really comment on them. But now I'll have to download the file just to comfirm my suspision that they're perfect for Logan.
