Yeah, well. Me and my mom are really close. But I didn't want to get, like, you know, the heart with the arrow through it and a banner that said MOM. You know?

It's very touching, she must have been thrilled when she saw the picture. Personally, I think it would look fetching embellished with a few hearts and flowers, or maybe if you wrote the date you got the tattoo underneath, just in commemoration of the event.

Her immediate reaction was, "My friends are going to be so jealous!" I had thought about embellishing it, but I really just wanted only black ink tattoo, and I got it on my birthday, so... yep. Though I've been thinking of getting a CIRCA 1989 tattoo on my wrist.
