I always seem to have these periods of time where I really dont say anything on Livejournal for months, and then have a five page rant about something. I see no need to vary from this tendency, so I will start my rant thus: A life worth living is one worth living right

Change is hard. I'm faltering right now, while adjusting to the change in my job and lifestyle...
Good food for thought, bro.

"It [Life] rewards people willing to take the chance and knowingly improve."
Sorry man, I don't see it.
Just being honest with you.
This isn't to say that one shouldn't try to better themselves, just that the act of trying (or even succeeding) bears no guarantee.
I believe that the idea -that there is no "benevolent force" helping us out- gives our achievements more significance.
Although some might say, "Without God, what good or purpose ( ... )

It's an awfully pessimistic point of view.
Life itself rewards people that are willing to take the chance, and knowingly improve. You can think of this in a couple of diffeernt ways, man. If you try something, and fail, then you at least know that you tried. See that nice looking girl in the corner? You can get shot down, but until you try, the answer is NO.
Knowledge, life experience, and attempting to do things and failing, or growing in it's own helps improve you, or your quality of life in some way.
You can say that ones achievements have more significance because theres no "god" helping us out. That's cool. But he might just be telling us, and himself to get out of their own holes, and do things. Dont be afraid to fail, or be afraid to change. Theres only so many websites one can surf, and so many books one can read.
Probably half towards everyone else, and half towards himsself. But it's good stuff.

How am I not myself?
I think it's rather inauthentic to think of ourselves as static objects, which I think is presupposed by that question. Identity. It's a funny thing. it's a funny subject. Because what exactly is identity, these ideas of who we are.
I deny living just for life. It doesnt mean that I dont experience the rapture which is life itself, but I hold that life rewards those with purpose. It rewards people willing to take the chance and knowingly improve.Interesting, in some ways I agree with this, but get caught on the semantics - but I think semantics have everything to do with how we act and live (words are powerful!) Living life for living life - what more reason do you need? I think what I am getting caught on is the idea that life is rewarding you, when i really think you're at the cause of everything in your life. You're rewarding yourself with your own purpose ( ... )

So you choose to live life for living life. To live as unreasonably as possible?
Do you choose to take a path in life? The only thing I'm understanding is that you choose to not have a direction in life, and let fate and whim decide you. Kind of like a feather floating through the air.
Is that what and how you choose to live your life like?
