Hahahaha, Jim Gaffigan has to be single handedly responsible for the resurgence of the popularity of these things.
I like the turkey and cheese lean pockets. ;-)

You know, mine tend to err on the side of cold and rubbery in the middle!
I tend to cook them in short increments in order to avoid the molten mouth unpleasant surprise!
What *does* often happen is, I take a bite and hot napalm-like grease bursts from one corner and runs down my hand. DAMN PEPPERONI HOT POCKET!!

upon further thought, i might try the cold/rubbery approach... being the eccentric eater that i am, i would probably much prefer an undercooked pocket to one that brings tears to my eyes and burns raw spots in my mouth.
also: once, i cooked a hot pocket in a toaster oven b/c i didn't have a microwave. it took AN HOUR to cook, but it was the most delicious, evenly-heated hot pocket i've ever had.
