i definitly had an amazing weekend away...it was truely awesome. it cleared my head...and it was all around awesome.
thursday night i went to nicole's house to drop off my stuff and then my dad took us to amandas house to hang out with everybody. the night was very fun, and then we left at 11. we went back to nicole's house and i slept over that night and we went to bed pretty early.
we woke up friday morning at 8:30ish. we got dressed and put our stuff in the car and then went on a few eerands with her mom. at around 11:00 we left for maine. the car ride wasnt that bad, we passed the time by watching movies and im pretty convinced that if i can do a 12 hour car ride...i can do anything.
we arrived in maine at 5:30, but we took the ferry to "the island" which got us over there at around 6. the first thing we did was unload the car...and i LOVE nicole's house...it is by far the cutest thing...ahh i loved it.
after unloading the car we took a ride in the golf cart and nicole showed me the island...i looved it. i see now why she loves it so much, its just so peaceful and everything. ah i loved it.
after that we went and sat on her dock and talked for a little, then we had dinner. it was probably one of the nicest dinners ive had in a while. everything was so peaceful and the lighting tied everything together. it was a perfect start.
after dinner, we took our showers and went for another ride on the golf cart (i love that thing). we werent out too late because it was raining. we did stop at the marina though and there was a beaver that almost made me piss my pants.
the next day we were planning to go tubing, but since it was raining we couldnt. so we got up, had breakfast, and took our showers. we then called her friend mike and had him come over. we played yahtzee and clue for a little. after the rain stopped we drove down to the store and i met her friends peter and emily. we stayed there for a little, then left and went to nicoles house for dinner.
after dinner, we went back to the store and made plans with her friend peter and mike. they ended up coming over a little later and we just hung out. it was nice, the night was so beautiful, the sky was completely clear and you could see every star in the sky. it was gorgeus.
the next morning, we still promised to go tubing but it was too cold so we just packed up everything and hung out with her friend peter again.
we left around 4 and arrived home at 10:30.
i love maine.
