Dream Effects: stonedness.... to stonedness... and some confusion
The dream opens up to an ocean. It's dark and deep and empty and the view rises out of the water to a dark purple sky that seems to glitter occasionally. That is, until bright pink and red lights start flashing. Out of nowhere, they flash bright and obnoxiously like strobe lights, followed by orange and green and then all sorts of colours as the view spins around and around.
There's music. Carnival music in the background as lamps start walking on top of the ocean, singing and dancing. They're followed by TV dinner tables that are shrieking some sort of awful noise as the lights continue.
Suddenly, they start morphing and swirling around, elongating and growing wiggling arms as they also develop faces that start giggling excitedly. The lights flash even brighter and and suddenly everything distorts before the tables start eating the lamps and pillows start falling from the sky. They start piling higher and higher and suddenly, Gamzee's emerging from the ocean, riding on the head of his lusus, a large Capricornian sea dragon.
He's flying upwards as the pillows stack higher and higher and the bass of the music gets louder and louder, before his lusus disappears and he lands on the pillow stack. The pillows start singing his name and they suddenly spin outwards like discs, and the colours flash brighter and brighter as juggling clubs dance around him in the air.
And then everything disappears and he's falling backwards into spiraling colours, like a black hole of vibrancy.
Suddenly, the world goes black and Gamzee's landing on the ground. He looks around. The music's stopped and the colours are gone. It's just a black cavernous place.
Then slowly, it begins to rain colours. Red, orange-brown, dull yellow, greens of various shades, blues, purples, and fuschias. It rains down on him and he looks upwards, bringing his hands out and smiling.
[ Gamzee stirs a little as the Dreamberry's light continues to flash and he's slow to wake up, unaware that his dream's been filmed. ]
