Ezio had prior consented to try this out, though it took some persuading because the very thought of living out your subconscious -- consciously was odd enough and seemed quite dangerous. But this very world bordered against his comfort-zone and the dreams would exploit any unguarded creative imaginative sporadic scene of self or perhaps even secrets, though he could deny them if such vivid insights illuminated across everyone's dreamberry.

A small effort, he found it, to become in Cesare's dream and he walked barefoot (for unknown reasons) toward the shorter boy, who seemed so much smaller than him now than he was in the waking eye. "I cannot become use to this." Each step took him closer to Cesare and a weakening ripple had his presence in the other's dream flicker.

As strange as this was, Cesare wanted to master it for several reasons. Firstly because at some point it may become very useful to him to be able to create a Dreamfield and/or move into someone else's and if he not able to comfortably then he'll have done himself a disservice. The second thing being that he needs to look confident and able to adapt to the unique changes Hypnosia presented them with. A public figure was only so able to engender confidence as he displayed himself. And lastly, if he could help the poor people stuck in the Dreamscape then he would look that much better.

All of these reasons gave him a confidence he should perhaps not have had, but he did. He looked able and strong as he moved in a slow circle, swinging his sword in wide arcs.

"Ezio. How good of you to join me."

"Maybe for you it is, there's not a woman in sight." He teased. "But I am not so sure what it is for me yet." He smirked and watches Cesare flash his sword about. He drew in a breath and looked to his bare feet and smiled. "This is going to be interesting," He then liked the idea of prancing around without boots, especially being a dream, he wanted to test both the intent of his actions to the granted feel of the grass and stone beneath his feet.

He wore a sword to his hip and one hidden blade brace to his left arm. The clothes were familiar and garments that he wore when in the comfort of his home.

"Yes all the better that you have joined me, otherwise it would be dull as I said all by my lonesome. Some company is better than no company." Cesare moved slowly around the courtyard, boots alternately crunching on gravel and padding softly through grass.

He motioned with his sword to the small space he had conjured with his mind. "This is one of the yards of my family's villa in Rome. I spent much time here with my siblings. It makes me home sick, I will confide in you."

Cesare looked down to Ezio's bare feet and chuckled, but made no comment.

"Well don't you look handsome," a voice said from atop the wall. Jing, while he didn't really care about seeing this place's history, and he didn't trust military figures so he didn't trust their "advice" about how it would be so simple to dream walk in the other realm. But, dream walking, oh now Jing was very used to that. He decided he would go bother Cesare, he liked to bother the holy man.

Jing bit into the apple, his leg swinging over the edge of the wall.

"You shouldn't invite people so easily," he said as he was suddenly in front of Cesare, equal height to the other man, "You don't know who will accept."

Cesare gave Jing a look, the sort of look a mother might give her misbehaving child. Though after this look he chuckled, the movements of his sword slowed until he pierced the tip just barely into the ground and crossed his ankles in a very leisured stance. He looked the man over, who was annoyingly just a few years younger than himself.

"Have I told you yet that you remind me of my brother, most strikingly?"

Jing was wearing his normal trench coat and black pants and tank-top but beneath the sleeve of the coat was a device of Jing's own design. So long as Cesare's sword never tried to come towards him, he wouldn't have to unsheath the spring loaded sword that was inside. But, Cesare didn't need to know any of that for the moment.

"No, you haven't. What's a fake holy man doing with a sword? It won't help your image."

"I disagree with you. A man must not be seen as weak, holy man or not. A sword is more than a weapon, it is a symbol of power. Is that not what dreams are, symbols and signs of our mind?"

Cesare nearly gave away more than he had meant to about his political leanings, but holds back and instead gives a small smile. There is something about this dream-self that is not altogether him, with his cautiousness and control.

"You are taller than I would have expected."

So, finally found the Fade at last. Hawke looked around, gazing at the dreamscape speculatively. Although everything looked sturdy enough, there was enough magical energy thrumming through everything to choke the most insensitive mage ever born in Thedas. And to a mage like Hawke, with strong willpower, high magic skills and power enough to resonate on a Templar's sinuses even five miles away, the entire place shimmers with the dream energy, buzzing thickly in his ears, singing its sweet, seductive call. But temptation is no stranger to the eldest son of Malcolm Hawke; he simply takes a firmer grip on his staff and smiles grimly, shouldering the stave and striding off in search of the dreamer.

Twenty minutes later, it was an increasingly peevish Champion who finally turned the corner beneath a far archway and spied the dreamer, or who Hawke instinctively took to be the dreamer, considering he'd seen no one else in this Maker-cursed place. Experience had taught him early on to approach cautiously, regardless of place, ( ... )

"Thank you," he said to the stranger. Cesare stood in a comfortable sword stance, sword extended out and left hand back. He made a few steps forward, swung the blade with some experience though controlling the dream and himself in it was proving to be something awkward for now.

"It is one of the courtyard's of my family's home." Cesare made a few more swings through the air, then brought his sword to a rest and looked at Hawke. He bowed formally.

"I am Cesare Borgia. And you?"

Having spent enough time with his little brother, then later Fenris and Aveline, Hawke saw that this Cesare was quite familiar with his weapon, although Hawke had never seen a sword of that particular make. But he supposed there were countless designs, to each their own, after all.

He returned the greeting with a polite nod, replying simply, "Hawke."

Despite living within the dream city for nearly three full years, dreamwalking and interactive dreams were not something the woman has ever had the chance to experience. Though she had spent an entire lifetime (fake, of course) studying all there was to dream energy and nightmares and interference within dreams, Naomi had always taken the scientific and very detached point of view in her studies. She knew all there was to know essentially, but that knowledge was more than enough for her. She didn't feel the need to experiment with such unpredictable things herself and see how it felt. No, not when others in the city would always be more than willing to throw themselves into that unknown for the sake of thrill ( ... )

Cesare was practicing controlling his dream-self's movements consciously. So much of sword fighting was reflex and reaction, the memory of your muscles and reading from an opponent. Trying to mimic that in a dream while maintaining the dreamfield was strange and not altogether easy for him. Some times when he would make a complicated series of steps and swings, pieces of the courtyard would fade or warp.

Her arrival was not expected and when he had noticed her finally he glanced in her direction. "You have decided to join me?" he asked, unaware she was under the impression this was her own dream.

It was certainly interesting to watch him weave his way expertly around the courtyard with his sword in hand, a sight that reminded her distinctly of Frank with his own blade in hand. Though well practiced in firearms as a soldier of his time period should be, her brother had always preferred to use his machete instead. It was the weapon he had always felt much more comfortable with.

With that dark gaze of hers was firmly fixed on Cesare the entire time in this fantasy so far, Naomi just so happened to miss how unstable this particular dream realm seemed to be. That sort of realization might be distracting for her.

"Are you really surprised?" From her point of view he shouldn't be, after all. "I always enjoy spending time with you."

"But here? Did you bring a sword with you?" he teased lightly. Cesare stopped his practice and turned to face her, the tip of his sword dropping to rest in the grass. As his concentration came to bear on the dreamfield it fluctuated into sudden vividness. The colors and textures around them became vivid and sharp, the sun brighter on their skin, the plants more lush.

"Or perhaps just here to support a good cause, I think."

Tamaki could not help but be curious. He had experienced dreamwalking before, so it wasn't too difficult for him to enter this particular dream. But he was absolutely amazed by the setting. It was just breathtaking and he could only stop and stare.

"This place is beautiful! Is this where you lived?" Tamaki asked as he finally came upon Cesare.

It took Cesare just a few seconds to remember this young man. He sheathed his sword immediately and bowed formally, he smiled to Tamaki before speaking. "Yes, one of the courtyards of my family's villa in Rome."

Cesare looked around the small space, a soft sigh from him and a distinct look of longing. The more time he spent in this dreamfield the more homesick he became. Cesare was far from a maudlin man but it was so real, despite knowing it was nothing more than a dream, he could not help the feeling.

"Where are you from, Sir?"

"France," Tamaki replied after returning the gesture. "I've been to Italy before, but though are still some of the older architecture, it's not quite the same since it's also surrounded by modern buildings. I'm sure there are some lovely places like this in the countryside, though," he sighed dreamily.

"This is the courtyard of one of my father's properties in Rome," Cesare explained. His eyes moved over the architecture, noting slight mistakes. Even as he thought them the dream-representation of them shifted subtly and melded into what his mind remembered.

As he made these small changes to the dreamfield he commented on Tamaki's place of former residence. "I have great admiration of the French. Are you from there originally?"
