Good afternoon, everyone. This is a general announcement and request to anyone willing to help out during these troubled times. The weather is cooler and the locals sorely unprepared for it. Snow drives us indoors and the lack of supplies do little to ward the cold from our bones ( Read more... )

[He smiles, glad to see her. He hasn't had much time to these past few weeks.]

Absolutely. Did you have something in mind?

Ah um... I could bake some things?

[God she is adorable. Cesare chuckles and nods.]

That would be nice. I could keep your baked goods in the room with the other donated items, for people to eat when they come to look for what they need.

What a good idea.

[Video] You are seriously about to get almost all my muses virgo_regina November 6 2011, 18:59:01 UTC
[She cannot believe it, Cesare Borgia? She is both amused and, alright, even for her, she's slightly impressed. But, at the end of the day, the man is Catholic. Not JUST Catholic, he had been the son of the Pope. A shoddy military career perhaps but that was not the only thing they were known for.]

That is quite kind of you, your Eminence.

[He has seen her on the network but so far kept his distance, unsure how to approach her. Cesare is almost relieved she has contacted him first but he is still very cautious.]

This is the sort of work the Church was created for. It is unfortunate there is so soon need of it.

Truly, you are a paragon of the church, sire. [She's played this game before and she knows enough about the Borgia that there is potential here. And that the rumors of Cesare made him anything BUT a paragon.] But God does not set tasks before us that cannot be overcome.

May we be up to the tasks He sets before us, your Majesty. [Spoken most humbly and sincerely (he's good at that), and just to be an imp he makes the Catholic symbol of the cross over himself.

Cesare gives her such a charming smile.]

I do what little I am able to here.

Oh I would be happy to help in any way I can. [Here Cesare, have a 14th Century Princess.]

[Oh a Princess? Very nice. He smiles and stares for a second.]

Did you have something in particular you wished to donate to the charity?

cursedtosleep November 6 2011, 19:17:51 UTC
[Unfortunately she's technically pagan.]

I would be more than happy to donate my time so you aren't doing everything by yourself. My friends will be happy to help as well.

[He sort of likes having the Church to himself but having a blonde bustling around doing the manual labor sounds pretty okay with him.]

May I have your name, my Lady? And the names of your friends?

[Cesare makes a pretense of pulling out some paper and pen.]

Cesare, that's wonderful, I have quite a bit I can donate.

This hardly surprises me, my Lady. You are always very generous with everything that you do. May I ask what kinds of things you will be donating?

You give me too much credit, Cesare. But I have several blankets and warm clothes that can be donated. If you would like, anyone in need of a home is welcome to stay in the manor for the winter... yourself included, Cesare.

Oh- [No way. He somehow doubts she would approve of what he gets up to in his little room above the Church.]

That's very kind of you but I am pleased with where I am, it stays very warm in the Church.

But I will be sure and mention your generosity if I hear from anyone needing a warmer place to stay for the winter.

Oh, I don't have any spare clothes or anything but if you need help sorting things or something I'd be glad to help.

Volunteers are always useful. I think that I may need someone to make deliveries and pick up donations from people who don't want to come themselves to the Church.

Would that suit you?

marked_as_prey November 6 2011, 20:44:44 UTC
Sure, I should be able to do that.
