But I know what you mean -- it's nuts seeing how many people jump in front of emergency vehicles. stumpykitty thinks they should be run over, then forced to wait extra-long for help to arrive. :)
I wonder if it's just a California thing? Maybe people are a little more sane in states with severe weather / routine natural disasters.
