The movie theatre in my town has been closed down. This is a fucking tragedy. I'm not kidding. It's like, I don't know, I can't go see movies at the cinema anymore without having to travel a long way and pay more money and omg I could cry. I was going to get my mum to take me to see Pride and Prejudice and now I won't get to see it until it comes

Oh that's terrible. Why did they have to close it down? Can't you form a group or something to demand a new cinema? Maybe your local politicians will wake up then? In case there are votes anytime soon, you could write to the parties or something. Just a thought.
